Advanced flight & drone tradeoffs
Pitch, yaw and roll rotate your suit; they are optional for your first flight. Drag the scene to look around; double-tap to recenter.
Streamline: reduces drag, so you fall faster. Release it when heat or approach speed is high.
Ride drone: slows your fall and strengthens steering, but drains battery and pauses automatic threat interception. Toggle it again to dismount.
Shield: 6 seconds of protection; costs 22% drone battery. Stop spin: 4 seconds of rotational damping; costs 16%. Both share a 7-second cooldown. Stop spin does not stop sideways drift.
Insertion: cross 800 m within 2.6 km of your selected center, falling below 180 m/s with heat below 110. The flight continues to the ground.
Touchdown: hold Shift / RT / COLD GAS to brake. Release when nearly hovering. Touch down at 7 m/s or less downward and 12 m/s or less sideways. Aim within 40 m of the pad for the best score. SI-AI auto-flare can assist, at a score cost.
