Check which apps can use your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, and location.

Before you start

Permissions let an app use parts of your device or information. Review one permission at a time so you can understand the effect of each change.

Follow these steps

Open Settings on your phone.

Open Privacy, Security, or Permission Manager.

Choose a permission such as Location, Camera, or Microphone.

Review which apps currently have access.

Remove access that is unnecessary or change it to only while using the app.

Test the app and restore only the minimum permission it truly needs.
