Open a conversation, read the message, write a reply, and send it.

Before you start

For a beginner using their phone’s normal messaging app. Screens differ between iPhone and Android, but the basic flow is to choose a conversation, read, write, and review.

Follow these steps

Open the Messages app.

Tap the person or conversation you want.

Read the newest message near the bottom.

Tap the message box and type your reply.

Review your words, then tap the Send arrow.
